Brooklin Veterinary Hospital has been proudly serving the Brooklin community for over 50 years. The practice was founded by Dr. Black, and was purchased by Dr. Keith Mountjoy and Dr. Tim Lumsden in 1951 on graduation from veterinary school. In 1967, Drs. Mountjoy and Lumsden built the building that stands today, and moved their practice from Dr. Mountjoy’s house to this location. Initially, the practice primarily treated large animal patients (livestock and horses), and the back half of the building would house farm animals in stalls if needed for treatments. Over time, and several renovations, small animals (dogs and cats) have become the primary patients seen at Brooklin Veterinary Hospital. The practice is currently owned by Dr. Bob McCrae and Dr. Harry Morrison.
