Karen was born in England, and grew up in the greater Toronto area. She completed her Honours B.Sc. from the University of Guelph and DVM degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. After graduation, she completed an internship at the Animal Medical Centre in New York City. Karen has worked part time at Brooklin Veterinary Hospital for the last 10 years.
When not at the clinic, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. She enjoys golfing, gardening, and camping.
